THE COMPANY
Inspired by the iconic Black Rock in Widemouth Bay, Cornwall, Black Rock Bakery creates hand-crimped Cornish pasties using high-quality ingredients that embody the spirit of this beautiful region. Each pasty reflects their dedication to authenticity, proudly honoring Cornwall's rich culinary heritage.
Black Rock Bakery offers a diverse selection of genuine Cornish pasties and sausage rolls, featuring exciting flavors like Red Thai alongside the beloved traditional Cornish classic.
The goal is to weave the Cornish tradition and heritage throughout the brand.
PHOTOGRAPHY
The focus of the photography was to capture the quality products on offer as the centrepieces, as well as the heritage and beautiful area which inspired the brand.
A challenge to overcome was naturally fillings of pasties are not appetising, as it becomes a mash of ingredients. Therefore we had to be selective on angles as well as putting the time in to make sure the delicious centre was given justice.
FLYERS
A range of flyers needed to be produced for trade shows and business to business deals. To do this we focused the content on offers of point of sale and letting the images do the work. The branding allowed it all to come together and not take the focus away, as shop owners etc would only need the vital information.
WEBSITE
As a start up brand the website would act as a hub for information about the brand, and a means of contact. We focused on Point of Sale, the range itself and providing essential information all in one place such as ingredients, allergens and cooking instructions.
The website focused on the branding of Cornwall heritage and the photography taken to showcase the business.
MISCELLANEOUS
A range of POS such as swing signs, flags and posters were then provided, to be sold in conjunction with large orders and to gain traction in the industry, we provided these as a package to elevate and assist businesses with simple call to actions and clear imagery of whats on offer.
This also included warmer units with magnetic branding to attach to the front for shops, which are sold along with a selection of free stock. The main challenge was to make sure the branding could withstand the warmer temperatures as they would be left on every day.
Trade shows are an important aspect of the business, and most of these shows comes is in the form of free samples. Our aim was to provide simple backdrops set in lightboxes to stand out. The products would do the talking, so we just wanted simple call to actions and clear branding for the business.
Finally in terms of large scale graphics we created Lorry graphics. These once again focused on simple graphics and information, informing the public at high speed and leaving now doubt what the business offers.
